 Another killer No Gi session at SW19 last night, three monkeys competing at the weekend, so one last big push and shark tanks all round :)

 Only a couple of No Gi sessions left at Wimbledon BJJ, before we put the pyjamas back on :)

Couple of students competing at the weekend in a No Gi comp, so a few classes left this week and of course shark tanks for those competing for sure :)

No Gi @ Norbiton!

 Another No Gi session in the bag last night at Average Mo's gym above Norbiton train station, as the monkeys take advantage of the two extra classes per week; the mats are top of the range 40mm Zebra mats, so these classes are concentrating on Judo throws and wrestling takedowns, together with the usual specifics and rolling....

Looking forward to the comps for the rest of the year, looking forward to see the monkeys give their opponents some free Air Miles :)

 Another great session with the SW19 Chiropractors last night, getting the lads ready for another competition at the end of the month :)

New classes in Norbiton!

Had a great No Gi class last night at Average Mo's Boxing and Kickboxing Gym in Norbiton :)

Norbiton is a few train stops away from Wimbledon and the gym will provide additional classes for my Wimbledon students, as well as being open to all in and around the Norbiton and Kingston area :)

Thanks to an injured foot, I was unable to get down on the mats quick enough and the timer was running out, so one student improvised and we managed to catch a one in a million photo instead of the usual team photo.

It captures the essence of why we train Jiu Jitsu...namely to have fun and seeing the smiles and laughing faces on my students, it makes me feel I'm doing something right :)

Brenda's bronze!

 Nice to have have Brenda in class last night and showing off her well earned bronze medal from the Grappling Industries event at the weekend...here's to many more!

 Always nice to have visitors to the club and last night, the club had the pleasure of having two friends from Carlson Gracie Carshalton, Mark and Bora, on the mats and joining in the fun.
