 Ended the month off in style with another hot and sweaty session in the Gi last night at Wimbledon BJJ, more guard passing gold and lots of rolling, getting ready for the NAGA event in April :)

Last night's class

 Back in the Gis this week at SW19 and delivered a knee slice guard pass masterclass, together with a solid of rolling, just what you need to kick start the week :)

New rash guards are here!

 Huge thanks to Armada Apparel for their awesome service, delivering the new club rash guards to the gym last night, making a lot of monkeys very happy :)

The first batch were given out last night and everyone put them on and put them to the test, was great to see the rash guards on people and not just on a photo, looking forward to dishing the rest of them out over the next few classes :)

 Another hot and sweaty No Gi session last night at Wimbledon BJJ, carrying on with the takedowns from Monday, a solid hour of rolling and cooled down with drilling the Gotch toe hold...a fantastic session as always!

Filmed a short video in class last night of the infamous Catch Wrestling Grovit submission, or the front face lock or front head lock as it's also known as in wrestling circles...the sequence filmed comes directly from the late Billy Robinson himself, when I attended a seminar with him at Ian Bromley's gym in Stockport, back in 2011 (RIP)

Had a very enjoyable session last night, spreading the Valentine love with lots of Jiu Jitsu hugs and Catch Wrestling kisses :)

Left the room like a steam bath, as always, hard work from everyone :)

 Filmed another shirt technique video last night in class, a really sneaky bicep slicer from the Lasso guard...you set the Lasso guard and attempt a sweep half heartedly, which your opponent defends and starts to pass the guard and falls right into the fiendish bicep slicer trap!

Erik's gold medals!

 Always a proud moment for me as a coach, when students return from comps with their medals :)

Great to have Erik back with a couple of gold medals from the NEON event at the weekend in Southampton :)

 Another good day at the office for young Erik, who bagged gold medals in Gi and No Gi at the NEON event in Southampton at the weekend :)

 Rounded off the first month of the new year in fine style last night, with a killer Gi session...not even the train strikes can keep the monkeys away from being treated to a master class in attacking the opponent when they turtle up...ending the session with a solid hour of rolling :)
