Back in the day this US magazine was THE bible for all things BJJ and MMA in the UK; I was extremely lucky enough to have a column in the magazine after meeting the editor Todd Hester in Los Angeles in 1999.

This led me to be flown out to report at ADCC 2001, stayed with the fighters in a five star hotel, shared the mats with them, interviewed them and watched them fight matside...

Memories include Bruce Buffer recognising ME in the hotel lift; ordering five star room service in Renzo’s room with four other Brazilian world champions; interviewing Mark Kerr and got so star struck I couldn’t speak; interviewing Renzo matside after training and he took his rash guard off and gave it to me (still have it) and so much more....
