'Twas the last class before Christmas...

 Wimbledon BJJ had it's last class before Christmas last night and lots of fun was had by all; a solid hour of rolling and WWE shenanigans, can't wait until we get the crash mat in the new year :)

Last night's class

Had a mixed class last night, two new starters starting their journey and in all the excitement, I forgot to take a photo at the end of class!! 

Tuesday night's class

 Added an hour of striking in with the regular Wrasslin session on Tuesday night, as it was a quiet one, lots of fun hitting people in the head before taking them down and twisting 'em up :)

 Lots of fun teaching last night as always, lots of Judo throws to warm up and to break in the new mats, a couple of sweeps and lots of rolling, what's not to love :)

 Another killer Catch session last night, lots of fun exploring the double wrist lock, the power double wrist lock and the Catch way to do a proper knee/calf slicer, plus lots of Festive rolling :)

Farewell to Ahn!

 A sad night last night at Northern Monkey HQ, as we said our goodbyes to our dear friend Ahn, who flies back to South Korea this weekend....it's been a pleasure having him back again and we hope he returns again one day :)

Last night's class

 Bit of a quiet one last night, quite a lot of my monkeys have already gone back to their home countries to celebrate Christmas; that didn't stop another killer session in the pyjamas last night, went over the double unders and Kimura with a fine tooth comb :)

 Handed out well earned blue and purple belt certificates last night to Bart and Ahn in class last night :)

 Another busy session for the 8pm class last night, lots of Judo throws on our new mats and plenty of specifics and sparring :)

New Beginners class!

 Last night was the launch of the new Beginners class at the club and three new starters already on board :)

Two turned up for the Beginners class and another new starter joined the 8pm class, looking forward to building up these classes in the new year :)

 A great session last night in the No Gi/Catch class, drilling lots of awesome takedowns and lots of wrasslin :)

Had lots of fun teaching this week at the new venue, looking forward to more classes running starting from next week with beginner and Self Defence classes :)

Last night's class

 Another killer Gi session last night, really putting the mats to the test with lots of big Judo throws every class, it's great to see the student's confidence grow with the throwing side of things :)

No Gi class!

Our first No Gi session last night at the new place and as always, a KILLER session indeed, making the most of the new 40mm Judo tatami finish mats...takedown city!

 Started the new club off in style last night, with two very well deserved promotions to blue belt for Bart and Anton :)

 Huge congrats to young Matt on his well deserved fourth stripe, awarded last night in class :)

First class at the new venue!

 Wimbledon BJJ now has a new home in South Wimbledon and is ready to take things to the next level :)

An excellent turn out for the first class last night, we are going to need more mats already :)
