Southern Thailand

Took a few days off training and did some travelling with some friends I've made in Phuket; I was taken to their parent's house in Southern Thailand, near the town of Phatthalung. Phatthalung is an ancient city in southern Thailand and is a land of mountains and a local hot springs resort. It was 8 hrs on the coach and a forty five minute scooter ride to my destination and I was able to see the real Thailand for three days and sampled fish head soup, fried beetles in coconut juice and crocodile meat, all very tasty and a far cry from my regular diet!
