With lots of free time during lockdown, I've been looking through old photo albums from my travels and during my reporting days and came across this photo of a very lean me with the NYBA Phil Baroni.
Phil was there at the camp for a few weeks, preparing for a fight and in the time he was there, he hosted a No Gi seminar that went down a treat.
During the time he was there, I got to hang out with him when we had our meals, as well as chilling out after training and I can say he is one of the nicest, humble guys you could ever wish to meet.
Wish I was that skinny now (*sighs*)
