Catch @ Cobham!

 The main reason for the road trip last night was the fact that the BJJ coach Mark Ganaden is also a Level 1 Catch Wrestling instructor, certified by Roy and Andrea Wood at the legendary Snake Pit in Wigan.

Mark also has another Catch instructor called Wei, who I know from the competition circuit and was delighted to hear that Wei also teaches at Cobham.

Two Catch instructors on my doorstep here in London, what's not to love?!

Had a brilliant session with Mark, we went over three takedowns and one neck crank and had great fun in the live part of class trying to pin each other and not ending up on your back...for BJJ players who play guard off their back this was very challenging not to flop back on your back!

Great fun and I will be back at Cobham on a regular basis from now on; anyone in and around the Cobham come and check out these classes and help keep the legacy of the Snake Pit alive in London :)
