Nine years ago today, I made the bold move to relocate to London and start teaching Jiu Jitsu; as a brown belt this was quite a daunting move as London is awash with black belts and for over eighteen months my classes were single figures and I was beginning to think I'd made a big mistake.
I stuck at it and slowly the numbers started to increase and now classes are double figures pretty much every class, numbers now running in the twenties and last year had high thirties, so the aim this year is to get in to the forties and beyond!
