Just arrived back from Fight Factory, after a quick photoshoot with all the MMA and BJJ coaching staff and what a team! All coaches have many many years experience in their chosen field, as well as success in competition in both amateur and professional formats. The gym has a number of active semi pro MMA fighters and in July, Shane Barry has his first pro MMA fight in York and Shane has already struck gold in BJJ at the Combat Base Interclub in May.

I am extremely honoured to be a part of the coaching staff, most of whom are good friends of mine and have trained with them over the years, so it's really nice to see us all together under one roof, sharing techniques. Ali and Shane cover wrestling and submission wrestling, Ste Sharples takes boxing and Thai boxing, Andrew De Vent is the MMA coach, James Morris covers Thai, Jason and Ken coach the juniors and I cover BJJ. Missing from the shot is George Launders, who teaches Judo, so all bases are covered; the gym has an open door policy, so if you're looking to start in BJJ or MMA, or wish to join the competition team, come down to the gym and let us know about ya!
Watch this space guys!
